Workshop Overview:
This 3-hour introductory workshop aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design. The course is structured to cover the basics of both UI and UX, empowering participants with the knowledge and skills needed to create user-centric designs.
Throughout the course, participants will gain insights into the vital role UI/UX plays in the success of businesses across industries (including non-tech sectors). Practical aspects, such as wire-framing, prototyping, and usability testing, will be explored, alongside an introduction to popular UI design tools. The course will also delve into the user-centric aspects of UX design, with a focus on user research, the flow of information via information architecture, and the creation of user personas.
The concepts taught will be highlighted through case studies and examples, allowing participants to connect theory with real-world scenarios. The course will conclude with a Q&A session, fostering engagement and addressing any lingering questions.
